My lifelong interest in alternative and natural medicines, the subtleties and powerhouse energy flows, of the body and our surroundings, nutrition, state of mind, exercise, and watching loved ones be encumbered with traditional western medicine, led me to acupuncture.
I have personally experienced anxiety issues. After I started using acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, my anxiety was under control, my wellbeing improved, as did my general health and happiness. I am excited to help other people find this powerful, natural means of healing and balancing.
Many people are skeptical of Chinese medicine and hesitant to try it because they know little about it. My goal as an acupuncturist is to help my patients on their path to healing by demystifying this medicine, and to be able to have other options before resorting to pain killers, surgery, or expensive treatments which are not dealing with the root of the issue.
Multi-Dimentional Approach to treat the “Root” & “Branch” of Dis-ease.
Balancing Your Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual body with Energetic & Reiki Guidance using Acupuncture, Auricular, Nutritional treatment and other healing modalities.
It is important to assess the root and branch of an imbalance. Many patients complain of the symptoms (for example: sciatica, back pain, acid re flux, depression…), which may be the branch.
After assessment, this condition may actually be caused by a root factor, being an energetic imbalance at the organ or meridian level. Proper treatment of the root cause, will help the branch issue.
What distinguishes Robin
from other acupuncturists?
My personal learning and facilitation,
in addition to extensive schooling and internships, lets me combine numerous modalities, advice, and approaches to natural healing.
Each treatment is personalized to the individual’s needs. What works for one person may not work for another.
My goal is to make your acupuncture treatment as comfortable and effective as possible. I observe and honor the body, and try to listen to what its telling me.
I feel fortunate to help people overcome their ailments before they turn to more drastic options.
Why Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine?
Our overall well-being is disrupted by every day stressors: emotional stressors, physical strain, trauma, poor diet, bad habits, mental over-work, synthetic medications and over-use of antibiotics, surgery, pollution.
These stressors affect the quality and flow of what’s called an energetic meridian. These meridians enable the body to nourish and support the cells, tissues, muscles, organs and glands.
If blocked or impaired, over time, the body as a whole or organ system’s
self-healing and regulating abilities are compromised. This leads to pain, disease, and a breakdown of the system.
The Acupuncture Physician’s diagnostic tools typically include: asking questions and gathering information about symptoms, medical and emotional health, lifestyle.
Observations are made thru Chinese pulse diagnosis, tongue observation (color, shape…), acupuncture point palpation, skin imbalance, demeanor, kinesiology and body movement.
